She has built her career in television on a flair for investigative research: from using archival records to view history through the eyes of the forgotten and marginalised – such as BBC’s social history format A House Through Time, and the landmark C5 series 1000 Years a Slave – to gaining access to behind-the-scenes voices in CNN’s First Ladies, this skill has translated into a passion for telling important stories through a deeply personal lens.
